About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist in NYC with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My clinical experience spans inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and medical settings, and as a supervisor as part of a coordinated care team for adolescents and young adults experiencing early psychosis. I have completed post graduate training in psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and cognitive - behavioral therapy. I currently work at a community mental health clinic where many of my clients identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from New York University. During my graduate training I was a recipient of the Council on Social Work Education Minority Fellowship Program, aimed at reducing racial disparities in mental health and substance use treatment. I completed internships at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, an inpatient research hospital affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital, and in care coordination with individuals with chronic physical and mental health conditions. Prior to my graduate training I volunteered for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and worked in clinical research at UCLA’s Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Clinic.

My practice is informed by these experiences, continued training and education, an ongoing interrogation of oppressive systems, my own richly transformative experiences through therapy, and personal practice of mindfulness and meditation. My approach to treatment is anti-oppressive, anti-racist, gender and queer-affirming, and trauma-informed.
